The Sponsor Blurb integrates the client's content into the Multi-Sponsor Program (such as Local Experts) using the standard look and feel of the channel. Standard placements vary depending on what channel they are included in. Sponsor Blurbs contain a headline, logo and text.

Headline (See 1 in Figure 1)
The Sponsor Blurb includes a headline using text that mimics the site's editorial headline style and links a visitor to the main client content. This link can go to LAKANA-produced advertorial content or link directly to the client's website. The headline has a 50-character limit and is usually the company's name.
Logo Branding (See 2 in Figure 1)
This image is either 80x60 or 120x90 pixels, depending on location and template, and indicates to the visitor the type of content they will experience when clicking on the ad. This image will follow editorial image style including:
- one-pixel border on images with white backgrounds
- static images only; no animation
Note: Because this logo is small, clients with vertical or long logos should consider opting out of this feature or providing alternative branding. Specific messaging should not be used for the logo ad element.
Content "Teaser" Text (linking element) (See 3 in Figure 1)
The Teaser Text is one or two sentences that briefly tease the visitor to view the content. Text is limited to 150 characters.
Linking URL (See 4 in Figure 1)
The Sponsor Blurb includes a hyperlink to the client's website or Single Page Ad via a "More Details" or "Click here" link at the end of the teaser text.
Standard placements for Sponsor Blurb vary depending on what channel they are included in. For example, Sponsor Blurbs are typically placed in the center column of Local Experts channels and feature multiple Sponsor Blurbs at the same time. Sponsor Blurbs may also rotate in a content area on a site's home page.
Third-Party Ad Tracking
Impression Tracking: Third party tracking of ad impressions are supported by LAKANA for Sponsor Blurbs. All tracking is subject to a successful test of the tracking tag.
Click Tracking: Third party click tracking is supported by LAKANA for this ad unit. All tracking is subject to a successful test of the tracking tag.
It is best to keep the text at a maximum of two sentences. In addition, headline text should be kept to the name of the advertiser in an effort to keep it from wrapping to the line below.
