Mobile Banner Ad - Expanding HTML5 Example

An expandable banner consists of two ad units, a banner unit and an expanded unit. When a banner unit is tapped, the banner can jump or animate to the expanded unit.

The banner unit is primarily used to entice users to expand rich media ads (takes the user to the expanded unit).

The expanded unit includes copy and images. It features a close button (x) and can be re-opened by once again tapping on the banner unit. It can link through to the client’s site, link to the iTunes Store or Android Market to directly download the advertiser’s app, or have a ‘Click to Call’ function. The expanded unit can also showcase device features and interactions such as swiping and erasing.

Upon request, additional modules, such as Videos and Image Galleries can be included for additional points. Click here for more information on these modules.

Note: Users will only be able to ‘Click to Call’ one time per session. Once a user has ‘Clicked to Call’ the call functionality will be replaced with a click through URL. If the user receives the ad again, they may call through the ‘Click to Call’ function at that time.
